WEINER VENTURES ROLE
Managing development partner
Combining international luxury with New England charm, the Mandarin Oriental's development team defined a new standard of luxury hotel living in Boston upon opening in 2008, meticulously engineering the project to maximize both guest satisfaction and operating efficiency.
Two 14-story structures are connected by a shared, two-story retail base. Generous expanses of glass and richly detailed brick and cut stone contribute to the project's high level of quality. From the ground floor, the buildings create a sequence of pedestrian-friendly pathways and doorways, connecting the hotel to its urban neighbors including the Prudential Center complex.
